Treehugger.com reports that the People’s Design Award for 2009 goes to the Trek Lime bicycle. It’s a nice looking ride, and was designed to be simple and easy to ride, while still providing some of the perks of high-tech bicycling. Of course, being mid-priced also gets kudos in my book, but I would get this bike if I lived in the right neighborhood.
